Make Your Mark:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work as part of a highly collaborative team on developing and maintaining fully automated build and deployment systems. Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability. Assist in developing and implementing various tools and scripts and perform deployments as per the needs of the business.

You'll Get To:

Ensure high availability of a SaaS platform that is built primarily around Ubuntu Linux, PHP and other open-source technologies. Work closely with development teams to ensure that our infrastructure is fully aligned. Create and maintain software build and deployment pipelines using Python, GoCD, Ansible, Github, Terraforms and Bash. Automate server provisioning using Ansible, Packer and Python. Perform software releases to production and other client facing environments. Debug and resolve application and cloud hosting issues. Collaborate with development and other technology teams on requirements definition, capacity planning, and process improvements. Adhere to existing operational processes and maintain operational documentation. Monitor industry trends and keep abreast of new tools and technologies. Contribute knowledge, skills, and personal qualities to a dedicated team of top engineers solving real-life problems in a bleeding-edge, high-performance, and high-traffic environment.

What You'll Bring:

BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent diploma and/or certifications) or relevant industry experience Minimum of 3-5 Years of Experience in Related Field Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery, experience and understanding of build pipelines and deployment strategies Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, container technology, MySQL on AWS Aurora Intermediate to advanced knowledge of scripting in Python3 and the Boto3 library Experience of building and configuring Apache and Nginx servers on Linux Experience of using Terraform and AWS to build infrastructure. Committed to building everything with code. Experience with Observability tools Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, etc. Experience of working closely with an agile development team Excellent knowledge of IP networking, both IPv6 and legacy IPv4 Solid understanding of core internet protocols, DNS, TCP, UDP, HTTP(S) etc. Experience with troubleshooting distributed applications in a production environment Good knowledge of and hands on experience with AWS VPC, EC2, ECR, ECS, ELB, Cloudfront, WAF, Cloudflare etc. Experience with configuration management using Ansible (or Puppet / Chef / Salt

Experience with various file formats such as JSON, Avro, and Parquet. Experience with event-driven architecture/systems and messaging platforms. Experience with Hive, open-source / data bricks delta lake or Iceberg or Hudi Experience with Google Cloud or a similar cloud provider.
