Job Title: Development Assistant / Co-ordinator

Responsible for developing EV Power and GRID POWER prospects until ‘Construction Ready’ status. You will be an integral part of a Development department drawing on permitting, land acquisition and grid connection expertise as required.

Key Responsibilities:

· To assist in delivering fully consented, construction ready EV Power and GRID POWER development projects.

· To lead the charge on securing landowner consent for grid connection applications and exclusivity.

· To support the preparation of EIA screening and scoping requests to Local Authorities.

· To help nurture our development partners; either third party originators or co-developers.

· To assist, liaise and coordinate with supply chain partners in permitting and real estate.

· To work inter and intra-departmentally to maximise efficiencies, collaboration and ultimately business performance.

· To support a system of continuous improvement across the development supply chain.

· To provide administrative support across departmental and specific project management, including budgeting, raising and receipting purchase orders and invoices, drafting reports, dealing with telephone calls, research and any other tasks required to support the team in delivering their projects.

· To learn, fully utilise and then optimise our Opportunity Management software as the central spine of project development management.

· Assist in other related duties as and when requested by GRIDSERVE Senior Management.

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)

Skills required:

· Degree or higher degree level qualifications in a related discipline (real estate, planning or engineering).

· At least 1 year’s experience within a similar role desirable.

· Highly self-motivated with an ability to define and adapt project targets to ultimately get projects delivered.

· High accuracy and attention to detail.

· Strong IT skills (including Microsoft packages).

· Excellent written skills and communication skills.

· Proactive approach to finding solutions.

· Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to successfully multi-task.

· Ability to be realistic and solutions focused.

· Good knowledge and understanding of the EV charging markets.

Other Requirements:

· Hybrid working including working from home

· 40 Contracted hours a week. Monday to Friday.

Renumeration:

· Competitive salary, commensurate to role and experience.

· Discretionary bonus.
